IND vs NZ : Before their first Twenty20 match against New Zealand, the Indian men’s cricket team spent the day at the beach. In Wellington, athletes Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik, Shreyas Iyer, Arshdeep Singh, and Washington Sundar displayed their toned bodies and abs beside the water.

As they got ready for their first T20I match against New Zealand at Sky Stadium, Hardik Pandya and his colleagues were upbeat. A three-match T20 series between the Blackcaps and the Men in Blue will start on Friday. Kane Williamson will serve as the team captain for the hosts, while Hardik Pandya will represent the guests.

Washington Sundar, Shreyas Iyer, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, and Hardik Pandya all put in a lot of effort in the weight room. The athletes chose to take advantage of a sunny day on Wednesday to demonstrate their dedication to the gym by taking a stroll along the beach.

All the players mentioned above may be seen strolling along the beach in a video posted by Washington Sundar. The caption on Sundar’s post said, “Best Escape Anyone Can Have.”

Hardik is thrilled to serve as this series’ captain and leader. The all-rounder stated that he is aware of the importance of his role, particularly given the young team that surrounds him.

“To be honest, there isn’t much of a difference since even when I’m not the captain, I try to offer comments and I’m always around the bowlers. However, when I’m the captain, it’s different because I have to take care of them. Previously, I didn’t have a part to play, but now I must take care of the lads. The world cup is two years away, but for me personally, preparation begins about a year and a half in advance, so now is the time to start working as a team and establishing the culture we want to foster.
