First Look of Vishal Bharadwaj in Khufiya Trailer

Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya is a forthcoming Hindi-language spy thriller film that he wrote, produced, and directed. It stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Azmeri Haque Badhon, and Alexx O’Nell and is based on Amar Bhushan’s spy book Escape to Nowhere.

Vishal released a video on his Instagram pages that shows a brief glance of all the characters in the film. While Tabu appears nervous, Ali Fazal’s character may be seen laughing. Ashish Vidyarthi and Wamiqa Gabbi also pique the audience’s interest. The edgy background music contributes to the mysterious atmosphere. For the uninitiated, Khufiya is a narrative of Krishna Mehra, a RAW operative sent to track down the mole selling India’s defence secrets, and is based on Amar Bhushan’s espionage thriller Escape To Nowhere.

Tabu is pictured looking off into the distance at the opening of the teaser, which features a terrifying and ominous music. A montage then reveals several additional characters from the film, including Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Azmeri Haque Badhon, and Ashish Vidyarthi. A person (perhaps Tabu) is seen standing in the background, as Ali appears briefly on frame and is heard giggling. Toward the end of the teaser, a fuzzy picture of Tabu smoking a cigarette shows. There is no dialogue in the teaser.
