The next gadget will be the company’s flagship product and the successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro, which launched earlier this year.

Key A recent leak has revealed the OnePlus 11 Pro characteristics. Due to OnePlus’ recent streak of releasing underwhelming products, the forthcoming OnePlus 11 Pro has a lot riding on it. Parts mockups of the high-end smartphone revealed that it would retain the famous alert slider, but some of its internals remained unknown. According to one source, the OnePlus 11 Pro might take things up a notch and become the company’s “most premium” phone to date. 91mobiles hopes to put some of those rumours to rest by posting the phone’s full spec sheet.

The OnePlus 11 Pro will feature Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which comes as no surprise. With its new Cortex-X3 core that can purportedly increase up to 3.5 GHz, the TSMC-manufactured SoC could help enhance its capabilities. It will be combined with up to 16 GB of RAM (presumably LPDDR5X), 256 GB of storage (possibly UFS 4.0), and a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen. OnePlus would be wise to provide extra capacity, as 256 GB may easily be filled with high-resolution photographs. With the SD card slot in flagships gradually vanishing, more expansion is a distant dream.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will include a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen, a punch-hole cutout in the upper left corner, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is unknown whether the display will have curved edges. The device will most likely include an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The triple rear camera arrangement on the OnePlus 11 Pro will have a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP 2x telephoto unit. There will be a front-face selfie camera with 16MP. The next product will undoubtedly include Hasselblad camera technology.

OnePlus has been emphasising their devices’ photographic capabilities. The Hasselblad logo on the OnePlus 11 Pro demonstrates this. It is claimed to use a 1-inch 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor (similar to the one found on the Vivo X90 Pro+), a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32 MP telephoto lens. If rumours are to be believed, it may also rotate. OnePlus has yet to experiment with periscope-style telephoto lenses on its phones, so it will be interesting to see whether the OnePlus 11 Pro alters that pattern. Selfies and video calls will be handled by a 32/16 MP sensor.

According to the leaked renderings, the OnePlus 11 Pro will have a revamped camera module with a half pill-shaped border extending from the side frame to the middle of the rear panel. It is equipped with a circular camera bump, three sensors, and an LED flash. The alert slider, which was missing on the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus 10T, will return on the 11 Pro.

Dolby Atmos, 5G, WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-C connector are all expected on the OnePlus 11 Pro. The smartphone will most likely come pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system.
