Twitter news- Twitter is going to get its first chance to interview Elon Musk under oath, and it’s also deposing his lawyer, which is unusual. :Elon Musk may have discovered new ammo in his legal battle against Twitter, due to a recent whistleblower complaint — but legal experts warned Insider that it’s unlikely to be a silver bullet.
The whistleblower’s assertions, on the other hand, may persuade the social media company to accept a big payout from Tesla’s CEO rather than forcing him to acquire it entirely.
The 84-page lawsuit was prepared by famous hacker and former Twitter security head Peiter Zatko and published on Tuesday by The Washington Post. He charged the corporation with general mismanagement, “lying” to Elon Musk about spam accounts on its website, and having weak security methods that might violate a prior FTC settlement agreement. According to a Twitter spokeswoman, the charges are “riddled with errors,” and Zatko was fired for “ineffective leadership and poor performance.”
According to six legal experts, Zatko’s lawsuit might play perfectly into Musk’s legal strategy, reinforcing claims he has previously levelled against the social media business. But whether the Delaware court, which will rule on Twitter’s case against Musk, will take Zatko’s allegations seriously remains to be seen.

Since Twitter sued Musk in July over his effort to back out of a $44 billion acquisition agreement, Musk has accused Twitter of running a “scheme” to deceive investors about the company’s prospects and of deliberately “undercounting” the number of spam accounts on the platform. Meanwhile, Musk’s accusations have been dismissed by Twitter as just an excuse for him to walk away from the transaction
“Having a former employee bringing allegations like these now is clearly less than ideal for Twitter — and they elevate Twitter’s risk in general,” Matthew Schettenhelm, senior litigation analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, told Insider. “However, when you get into the facts, they don’t give me reason to believe Musk has an advantage in the Delaware case.”
Twitter tests diffrent format tweet link
Twitter is experimenting with a new style for publisher links known as ‘Tweet Tiles.’
Tweet Tiles, as seen in this sample, will enable new visual forms for tweeted links, with bigger pictures, varied fonts, and prominent CTAs to encourage more clicks.
Twitter news said that
People in the initial test group may now see and interact with Tweet Tiles that comprise text, photos, videos, or other components such as a button on iOS and the web. These formats are intended to make it easier to interact with material and to make your timeline more dynamic and attractive.”
This improved publisher link-preview format, which is part of Twitter’s new developer tools choices, provides additional consideration in this regard, but it is now limited to specific publishers.
Twitter also states that this is currently an experiment, so not all users will see the new tile format, and if you Retweet or share a Tweet Tile URL, it may not appear in the original display (hence the above screenshot as opposed to a tweet embed).
It may be a useful feature for publishers, and it will be fascinating to watch whether it results in more referral traffic from tweets.
