- Memorable imagery from the Exmor R™ CMOS sensor

A new Super 35 format sensor with a broad latitude has a sensor with 20.1 megapixels (9), the highest resolution in the industry, from Sony. - Recording formats for image quality and post-production
When utilising Long GOP or All-Intra compression, the FX30 can internally record 10-bit 4:2:2 video, allowing for richer, more realistic gradations and more editing latitude. By allowing for comprehensive 10-bit video with 4:2:2 colour sampling at comparable or lower data rates, recording in the XAVC HS format nearly doubles the effectiveness of compression, resulting in even greater image quality and manageable file sizes.

And Flexible ISO provides the greatest flexibility for exposure settings. In addition, Sony’s s709 has been added to the available LUT presets.

Active Mode is a 5-axis optical in-body image stabilisation option that offers more stabilisation when shooting movies. When filming hand-held without a gimbal, while moving, or at 4K resolution, a precise gyroscope sensor reliably detects camera wobble and adjusts optically.
