Kevin Parkourana : Police in Milpitas have taken into custody a guy they have named as Kevin Parkourana.
The man who was apprehended is accused of going on a murderous spree on Thursday in Milpitas and San Jose.
Who is Kevin Parkourana?
The age of Kevin Parkourana is 31. Parkourana has a lengthy history of assault, and according to police reports, he was on probation at the time of the incidents.
He was detained in January for allegedly using a knife to harm a transgender\\ person, but he was later released.
According to the police, he has a long history of arrests and felony convictions that go back ten years.
After the stabbing incident in the Smart & Final store parking lot, where several victims died from their wounds, he was taken into custody by Milpitas police on Thursday.
San Jose Shooting
Around three persons were killed and several more were hurt during the stabbing rampage and intentional vehicle collisions.
Milpitas High School was holding a graduation ceremony at the time of the rampage, according to police, who were aware of the occasion. In order to safeguard the school, the officers hurried there.
Jared Hernandez, the police chief in Milpitas, said, “We relocated officers to perimeter positions to assure the safety of everyone within the event, and we stationed plainclothes detectives inside that ceremony. Since the San Jose Police Department helped us, we were able to accomplish that and maintain neighborhood safety as a result of our joint efforts.
Following the horrific occurrence, San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan spoke at a press conference to express his condolences for the victims’ deaths.
“No words can adequately express the depth of our sorrow to the families of the victims,” he said.
“San Jose grieves with you, and I know my colleagues here today, councilmembers Pam Foley and Omar Torres, share that calamity and are fielding a lot of very difficult questions from neighbors today,” Mahan continued.
