Laverne Cox : When people hear that a renowned man is dating a trans woman and assume that he is gay, it is really troublesome. Because doing so denies trans women’s femininity.
Furthermore, it denies that there is a spectrum of sexuality and that it is possible to be attracted to a trans woman while being purely straight. Pansexuality is possible. Bisexuality is possible. There are a tonne of items to choose from. And everything must be fine.
I find it unbelievable that stigma exists in 2022. And that a lot of males, particularly prominent and famous men, are frightened that others would discover that they are having relationships with trans women. I genuinely find it hard to believe. Laverne Cox recently found a new love.
On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the transgender rights activist and star of “Orange Is the New Black” spoke candidly about her romantic relationships and the prejudice that men who date trans people face.
Laverne is back in love, the actress declared in a programme footage released on Thursday. “It feels fantastic. The power of love is amazing. The wonderful part is basically this chemical stuff.”
Cox didn’t give his name, but she described him as a “very lovely person” and said their relationship came as a surprise.
It “just kind of occurred,” she continued, “I assumed he was just going to be this hot person I was going to be hanging out with.”
The actress claims that over the past six months, she and her new boyfriend have “been hanging out” and developing their relationship “very gently.” She also said that this guy had never dated a trans woman before.
